My Semi-Cousins band yeah?
They are awesome.
NME Bums Them:

NME - "It might be the way knock-kneed, albino-haired singer Sam Megahy struts through ace opening salvo 'Mark Wasn't Sure' like he's '64-era Mick Jagger. Or perhaps it's that forthcoming single, the swooning, sythn-laden 'This Is Just The Night Time, Andy!', is a song with about 17 choruses, all slightly better then the last. Either way, there's a gazillion reasons why you need The Catweasels in your life. That they come from Chester-le-Street, a small town located between Sunderland and Newcastle, is inconsequential. Frankly, they might as well come from Pluto, because we haven't heard many bands that sound this giddily idiosyncratic from Earth before. There's dabs of the Cure in their most cinematic moments, touches of Devo in the quirky, jerky guitar breakdowns, but aligning reference points to this band is harder than trying to suit and boot a greased pig. They're a squirmy, ever-evolving concern with more ideas, ambition, and melodies than you might think you deserve. TRUST US THOUGH, YOU DON'T JUST DESERVE THE CATWEASELS, YOU NEED THEM IN YOUR LIFE."
