i loved them over winter, and went to see them

over time i have grown to not being able to stand them at all

they weren't my cup of tea live (looking back they weren't paticularly good apart from the acoustic For The Girl in the encore)

i had heard them so much before the album that i was made sick of them by people playing the album so much...

Flathead = tune tho

ok, so now that i have seen them, i would say that they are quite good. my favourite song is Henrietta, i think. The concert was good but it was like a four bands-concert, where all bands played for an almost equal amount of time, so i got a bit tired towards the end. the best part of the evening was when i caught a plectrum from the fratellis bass player :D or maybe not the best part, but you know...
the other bands playing were 'the spys in the mes', 'marvel hill' and the brakes. One of the guitar players in the spys in the mes actually slammed his guitar on the floor so that it broke and gave it to someone in the audience. Marvel hill were boring, but the brakes were all right. they put on a nice show including throwing a pineapple into the crowd and stuff, so that was cool. oh and by the way, their guitarist looks so much like Jack Black, the actor guy.
Anyway the conclusion is that is was a good gig, but far from arctic monkeys-standard.

Got their new album 'here we stand'. it's so different from their first. still love it though.
wish i could see them live...
the good things about the fratellis is that some people have actually heard of them over here in the states, unlike most uk bands i listen to.

I thought they were very good live. I saw them last year with the Switches and Dappled Cities Fly....both really good bands too.
