Yeah same here.
I gave him the link to the 7digital store rather then send it to him.
But I sent him the other songs though. xP
Go ahead and play the blues if it makes you happy.

While i'm here i might as well give you my opinion...

I really like both albums but for different reasons, firstly Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not is imense 'cos they are so real. The lyrics are like stories which makes 'em cool. I think The View From The Afternoon is a class track to open the album with and is a tibute to all things that represent the Arctic Monkeys, also I love Dancing Shoes 'cos of its powerful opening and how the lryics echo the feeling at a school disco, or at a night club.

Favourite Worst Nightmare is a different sort of cool, the rythm and tempo constantly change from song to song and during songs, actually it hits you like a train. Its a new angle for them I think. I wasn't expecting it. I <3 Teddy Picker, it rocks live, needs to be played loud. And also Fluorescent Adolescent I love it the lryics are so truthful. Balaclava is class the tune and everything is amazing I heart everything about it so much. 505 is so kool it really is a execent choice to end the album, however I have not heard Matador thereforse this opinion may change.

Overal the songs all rock on both albums and all the tunes will be ringing in my ears till kingdom come.

:D :D :D

Someone's NOT been reading the forum rules...

Illegal File Sharing
Do NOT post links to copyrighted material recorded by the band. This inlcudes album recordings, single recordings, b-sides and any other type of media prohibited to be distributed by the band. Some live recordings are acceptable aswell as demos released by the band. If this rule is broken you will be immediately banned. Your username will be removed and your IP address will be banned from the website, you will not access arctic-monkeys.com ever again

I don't think begging for files should be allowed either. But that's my personal opinion. If you love the band, buy the album. As simple as that.

I can understand the Matador and Da Frame 2R request because that pissed me off. Why should the Japanese get extra bonus tracks but the loyal british fans not get them?
Yet another indication of the bands mainstream approach to this new album.

I downloaded them <strike>illegally</strike> and I don't care, they should at least make them available for download somewhere legally.

I agree.
It was stupid that they weren't on the album. Well, it's stupid that Matador wasn't on the album.
Da Frame 2R sounds more like a b-side to me.
But more than likely they're going to be b-sides to a future single anyway.
Go ahead and play the blues if it makes you happy.

I downloaded Matador and Da Frame 2R because there was no place where I could buy it legally. I would like to pay for it, but I couldn't so I dont think it's anything bad. That's my opinion.

I've downloaded them, but i'll still buy a single with them as b-sides, or even if they came out on their own (unlikely). I pre-ordered FWN ages before it came out, and temptation took hold and I downloaded some shitty illegal version just to see.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's okay to download them illegally so long as you buy them un all.

I personally love to actually have the finished article.

I feel a bit sheepish now, my mouth is overflowing with humble pie.

I appolgise for begging and i would like to justify myself.. I had no idea where else to come for these tracks which i desperatly wanted and was quite nieve by thinking that i wouldn't recive illegal links or files, however i did and downladed them, and loads of people where talking about the tracks.. i would happily pay for them but i cant as they arnt for sale.

Sorry if i've pissed people off, by my begging and such like.
