lizening???? whats wrong with your 's' and 't' keys on your keyboard?
And how could you wake up,
With someone you don't love,
And not feel slightly phased by it?

Nice picture up there Darwin! I agree..... Alex's style inspires me, but nothing really has triggered me to pick up my guitar and a pen as soon as I heard like one single line or anything.

Although, come to think of it first time I heard Settle for a Draw that's exactly what happened. I started writing lyrics to a tune in my head, but nothing ever came out of it really, because that song would heavily out weigh anything I could ever create. I love it and how he puts the lyrics to it... mm hmm, brilliant.

yah i think they have - they changed the way i thought about writing songs - instead of loads of images and out of the way over the top rhyming i saw that you can just get real raw with your lyrics, it doesn't have to be american or compare your love to an eagle - it can be about getting thrown out of a club...

so yeah not only have they inspired me to write a song they have gave me more ideas about how to actually write songs
