Alex Turner is slightly drunk

NME.com have uncovered some very sneaky plans from the band.

After waiting for Alex Turner to get drunk they sneakily took advantage of the poor guy and in the interview shown below Alex reveals a little more information about the new album and a probably untrue mention of a collaboration between Matt Helders and Sarah Harding, who is the blonde one from Girls Aloud.

All in all it makes for a very funny watch and all the more funnier because Alex has had a few too many vodkas.

An added note, where did the Liverpool accent come from Alex?

Something I forgot to add on to begin with, "Where did the Liverpool accent come from".

For those of you who can't tell the difference between Geordies and Londoners, his accent sounds very freaky compared to his Sheffield accent.

Geordies are from Newcastle, Scousers are from Liverpool.
They have a massive difference in accents.

I'm sure it's the same over in Canada or the USA or anywhere else in the world, but foreign people don't usually distinguish between the accents.

I can sometimes tell the difference in American accents probably because they are on TV and films so much.

Aaaaaaaaah right! Finally someone tells me! Cheers Mark.
Yeah i bet you couldn't tell between French from France (like Alix) or French from Québec (like moi).
As for American, it is easier cos they're like everywhere.
