2006 ShockWaves NME Awards Tour

Maximo Park, Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists and Mystery Jets have been confirmed for the 2006 ShockWaves NME Awards Tour.

Arctic Monkeys confirmed that they will be playing in the Shockwaves 2006 NME Tour.

The band will be playing in January and February and are to play with such bands as Maximo Park and We Are Scientists.

The dates in which Arctic Monkeys will be playing is still as of yet to be confirmed, the following dates are when the gigs will take place;

Belfast Ulster Hall (25)
Glasgow Academy (27)
Edinburgh Corn Exchange (28)
Newcastle Academy (29)
Nottingham Rock City (31)
Leeds University (1)
Liverpool University (2)

Mystery Jets are the biggest pile of shit ever. I watched them just so I could get to the front for Arctic Monkeys at Leeds Festival and they were the worst thing ever.
