We Are Scientists...Can we borrow Matt!

Postby arctic » Wed Mar 19, 2008 3:57 pm

We Are Scientists have apparently proclaimed that they want to BORROW Matt Helders for a few months to play at the their upcoming festivals.

The band have been playing with drummer roles ever since their previous sticks man (Michael Tapper) quit the band.

Speaking to the Daily Star Bassist Chris Cain, said: “Matt played with us on the album chart show recently and he fitted right in.

“We got to know the Arctic Monkeys when we did the NME Awards tour with them in 2006.

Chris joked: “One thing people probably don’t know about Mr Helders is that despite being in one of the biggest bands in the world he’s always on the look-out for work and a bit of extra cash.

“If you’re a half-decent band you can expect to receive numerous emails from him offering his services and telling you how reasonable his rates are.â€

Yeah that would be cool!

Jamie and Nick are going to have come up with their own side projects in order to keep up with the other two :P

Personally, I'd kinda rather they not all have side projects so they can still do some Arctic Monkeys stuff, but that would be pretty cool, anyway. :D
Have I done something to trigger the funny looks and the sniggers?
