Arctic Monkeys' Fake Tales....or Fake ID's

Postby arctic » Mon Jun 19, 2006 8:24 pm

Arctic Monkeys' Fake Tales of San Francisco now include Fake ID's.

"Why?", I hear you ask, "They are all over 18, right?" well yes. But United States drinking laws require you to be 21 years of age, which is too high for the 19 and 20 year old monkey boys.

"We've all had to buy fake ID cards for ourselves off a couple of students at one of our gigs. It's either that or don't go out and get stuck in, which isn't really on." Said Jamie Cook

He added, "We've got away with it so far and no-one's questioned us at the bar, even though the pictures on them don't look like us at all."

Looks like the secrets out boys, sorry!
The Arctic Monkeys have recently finished a huge american tour and are heading for Germany on the 23rd for the Hurricane Festival.

That's pretty funny! So that explains why Alex was drinking in Baltimore I guess?

I doubt anyone would really care if they were drinking though anyway, I'm sure it's more for clubs. Funny though, I wonder who they are on the cards? Alex is probably some big buff dude with a military hair cut. hmm....

Just like they bombed the US i suppose???

personnaly think 21 is too old to start drinking... better have it at 18 like here! or at least 19 like in ontario.... even tho all those ontarians come drinking over here! hahaha! there's always a way aroung laws....

I'm from Austria and here we're allowed to drink at the age of 16 but most of us start drinking at the age of eleven. So what's better now? But I think that the Americans really are way too strict with that. I, ,mean when I stayed in America I wasn't even allowed to look at alcohol. In Austria it's much better.. :D

I second this.
If 12 year olds started drinking legally only bad things will happen.
