hmmmmmm, i realsied how rubbish and stressful big gigs were.

dont get me wrong, had a blinding time wacthing monkeys. but the queues to get a beer or go to the toilet were horrendous. so i managed to buy a wristband off some dude to go in some pavillion where the queues were even worse!!!! argggghhh.

but the monkeys were on form, every song, supergrass were very very good n all.

the highlight was that i pulled.

I was right in the front pit on the 29th. Had to wait about 7hours for the arctics but it was well worth it! Me and a mate made it to the very front for the last few songs!!!!

I was the crazy kid in the pink tshirt just infront of jamie cook. you may have seen me xD

but yh, toilets were dreadful, guys pissing on the walls everywhere lol :|

Hey people, i was there on Saturday ...drove up from South London at 8am...checked in at our apartment at around 1ish...went for a few beers before hand, jumped on the bus and the fun began.....All the bands were very good before AM came on.......But...50,000 people....so whos idea was to locate the bars where they were?!!? and NO ORDER going on what so ever! The security were shite and wouldnt listen to noone....it was more like, grab some beers, drink, queue up for a piss, queue for more beer, take a piss etc etc....I settled down at 845 with the cider and Arctics were bloody amazing!!! They certainly know how to put on a show!! We decided to walk back to apartment which took us about 2 hours lol but it was fun!! Managed to get 12 people in a 2 bedroom apartment which was a bonus....Overall a great weekend!

p.s i saw the dude dressed up as a white monkey!!!
What do you know? YOU KNOW NOTHING!

...but i`d still take you home !

Alround goodness then. I knew people would enjoy Supergrass. They are what I call a "oh" band. You hear a song and you say "Oh, thats Supergrass, I didnt know they sang that"

Yeah Supergrass were mint.
I should have got your phone number and met up with ya!
We drank quite a bit but ate even more so we didn't get drunk.

I didn't see White Monkey but my mate did, if I had seen you I'd have said hi anyway.
The pissing on the fence was the bad part, when it all ran down.
If you got to the bars at the right time IE when a band has just come on 10 minutes it calmed down so I went when Amy Winehouse (shit) was on and we got some then.

Overall brilliant Weekend.

i were there on sunday.

lucky enough to get in the front pit.
and it was the most incredible thing ive seen.

top form.

we got there two hours early, which were a sort of penance for the view we had.
worth it though.
