It's a cricket stadium.

Think "The Oval" where England play cricket, I believe it's like that. But I don't actually know for certain.

I'm going too! Thank the good lord!! :P Manchester forever! hehe

Right well basically LCCC is a big circle field with a ring of a few seats around it. If you are seated then it's most likely gonna be pretty far away - even on the front row. Although that is depending on where they put the stage.

IT'S GONNA BE ABSOLUTELY WILD!

And you know when the tickets say general admission, does that mean you can go anywhere in the set areas you want, seated or standing?

I CANT WAIT!

Arctic Monkeys Announce Additional Special Guest For Summer Shows

Arctic Monkeys are very pleased to announce that Japanese Beatles tribute band, The Parrots, will be joining them for their sold out shows at Lancashire County Cricket Ground, Manchester on July 28th and 29th 2007.

The band went to see The Parrots while in Tokyo recently and enjoyed the show so much they invited them fly over to join them at their forthcoming summer shows. Other guests include Supergrass, The Coral and Amy Winehouse.
