You can come live with me. That's no problem.
I'll show you how to cook Heinz beans on toast and some british bacon too. Wow that got my tastebuds going.

Beans on toast? They have to be Heinz? I've always wondered how that is...

I think if I moved to England I might lose 40 pounds.

So how do you prepare this meal? I'd like to try it. Or can it only be done in the U.K. Wouldn't want that girl to flip out on me like she did Lizzi.

It's really not hard.
Get a tin of Heinz Baked Beans.
Pop them in a saucepan and heat them up.
Make some toast, pour them on. Simple as.

http://harvey.nu/beans_on_toast/
That's an interesting tutorial.

I really like the picture story!

Any specific type of bread that's preferable? And I'm not sure if I will be able to find Heinz beans, but I will certainly look.

in my opinion some nice chedder cheese sprinkled on top of the beans and toast, let it melt also makes the fine british delicasy even more scrummy.

I'm certain there must be some sort of british shop somewhere.

Anyway eBay sells them worldwide for homesick people. And Americans :D

They are like 50p in the UK lol

That's like 5 American dollars a can?? Too rich for my blood. I told me mom to look for them, and I'm looking as well.

Can't imagine why they'd just sell them in the U.K. Just for beans on toast maybe? I'm sure they've got them somewhere in U.S.

The whole 'no substitute for Heinz' is pretty much one of those things that fits into one of 'em 'no substitute for...' lists:

There is no substitute for:

Heinz baked beans/ketchup,
Marmite (You're classic style, but then again, which other company does marmite?)
Coleman's mustard,
Hellmans Mayonnaise

etc.
Look. It's a signature. Wow.
