What You Could've Won is an absolute CHOON. Great band, although in my opinion not quite as good as the monkeys.

Saw them AGAIN last night at the Fusion for the xmas bash, what a fucking gig. I nearly killed myself crowdsurfing (blooming steel poles) and got my santa hat and antlers knicked.

Best Milburn gig I've ever been too.

Oh and The Harrisons supported and did over a 30 minute set. Fucking brilliant.

Postby dr seuss » Mon Dec 25, 2006 10:37 pm

omg, just got the album today and i wanst pleased i would have been happy with all the demos they released on a album but to be honest its over produced and and have changed some of the words that sounded better in the demos, ne wonder it was in the top 5 for WORST album in 2006 in Q magazine, im sorry they are top act live but let down with the album

anyone else dissapointed with it?

Don't get me started here, I love that album and the band. One of the hottest talents there is and frankly they are better than then Arctic Monkeys.
I can see what people mean when they say "over produced".

Over produced to you and everyone who uses it means "The albums not the same as the demos" which you stated in an earlier post.
People complained when the Arctic Monkeys released their album because it sounded "over produced".
IMO over produced is over used.
