Meh.
I'll like it eventually

i dont personally think its a shade of the first album. they have gone forward a lot, lots pf experimenting, but it lacks the killer tracks that got them where they are now.

this house is a circus is my fav

This album just doesn't really have the things that made me like them in the first place.
Meh.
That first album is AMAZING.

yeah, but it's good that the second album is diffrent, because they shouldn't repeat themselves.

tbh, when I first got the album, I was really dissapointed. I think I just built my hopes up a bit too much. I started listening to the tracks everyone was raving about (F.A, mainly), and I loved those, but then, the others started to really grow on me. I love Old Yellow Bricks, and Do me a Favour. I don't have a favourite, but for some reason I can think of a few songs that really remind me of WPSIATWIN- Fluroscent Adolescent defo reminds me of Mardy Bum- the sort of pop-sounding track, and for some reason OYB really reminds me of Dancing Shoes :? Not the lyrics, just the music.

I actually now think that I like it the same as the first, but I was so worried I just got it because I felt obliged too, seeing as I'd only heard two tracks.
Look. It's a signature. Wow.

For me Balaclava, Do Me a Favour, This House is a Circus and of course 505 are the best songs in FWN, but I like the rest very much.

When I listened the album first time, I thought only This House is a Circus was great. But if you listen FWN more than one time, you'll realise that all songs are pretty cool, I think so.
All the attention is leading me to feel important.

I felt just the same.
The first time I played the album, I went like "omg? What did they do?"
But then I started to play it over and over again, and now I think it's an amazing album. Like everybody says, the album has to grow on you. Maybe that's why I'm kinda addicted to it now. :]

I love every single song. <3

I think it's what I've said tons of times- for me it's phases, and it was like that with WPSIATWIN; in FWN, I just had certain tracks which I would play on repeat for ages (and still do now), and not listen to the others, and there were just other tracks which I wouldn't listen to. I still haven't listened to This House is a Circus or If You Were There, Beware all the way through, and I got the new album almost as soon as it was released. I don't know why, but that's just how it is for me. TBH, the first time I ever listened to one of the songs on the first album was about 4 months after I got it. Something just made me refuse to listen to it, God knows what!

FWN isn't one of those albums that grows on you (or atleast, that/this is MY case), it's one of those albums where you just need to properly listen to one of the songs first time round, like, really listen and you can straight away know if you'll love, like, or hate it.
