Thank yous both!!! I can do the lottery now!!!

Alright that's definitely a reason to be excited ! :P

In denmark turning 16 means you can not only play the lottery but also buy alcohol and cigarettes legally. oh and go to jail (wait, that's when you're 15..) We start the abuse in an early age :D

Same in Austria: to buy alcohol and cigarettes you have to be 16 and to get in the clubs 18 (but it's so easy to get into the clubs here and you can easily get alcohol even when you're under 16....no wonder we're the country with the second highest alcohol consumption)

It's better in countries where you can drink beer when you're 16. In Poland you have to be 18 but it didn't stop me from drinking when I was younger.

I'm suprised that Austria is the country with second highest alcohol consumption. I thought that it would be for example Russia or Poland, lol.

That's right. Sometimes I don't even feel that there's such a ban. If someone under 18 wants to buy an alcohol, he will do it anyway. There isn't any problem with it, in fact. And boards with this ban in the shops always makes me laugh all the more.

:milton: :milton: In the same way as talk about AM's new single "Fluorescent Adolescent" turned into 'clown discussion' in one moment.

Very simple :

Leeming spelling 'genius' wrong -->
Arctic telling him he spelt it wrong --->
Leeming saying don't be harsh, i only turned 16 today --->
Me and surrey_casual saying happy birthday --->
Leeming saying he can now finally buy a lottery ticket --->
Me saying that in denmark you can buy alcohol when you're 16, not just lottery tickets --->
Drinking age discussion

I guess in other words total randomness.
