Songs

In this section of the forum you can talk specifically about the Monkeys. Who are they? Where do they come from? And what the hell am I doing on this forum? Find out HERE

Another question. I'm writing songs and would like to hear an opinion of the Monkeys. Can I do that? If I can - how can I do that?

Thanks for any answer

Uhm that is quite a good question. I don't think this is the right place. You see, we're all just fans of the monkeys, i don't think they actually visit this site (would be cool if they did though). :D
But maybe i misunderstood your question?
Anyway, if you want an opinion on your songs from other people than the monkeys, you could post them in the Poetry and Other Creative Types thread (it's in the spam forum).

My songs (good or bad?)

Postby one_of_many_gal » Thu Oct 04, 2007 7:51 pm

OK.....so here I'm posting one of my songs and I would really like to hear your opinions.
plz comment [smilie=row2_12.gif]

As The Trams Are Walking By
Number, blue color
Means so much to someone
Tracks are slacked
But we just don't care

On the street
Going somewere, it doesn't matter
You can hear screaming
The boy's leaving
Apartment 205

Poor ones are struggling for survival
As we're buying an apple
We don't look back
We don't see that

If there is any exception
It's really rare
Cause they don't dare
To tell they care

If we could just see throught another eyes
It would be soo much better
But we're blinded by ourselfs

As the traims are walking by
We're living our lives

I like it! The lyrics are really good. If I heard those lyrics in a song I'd probably really really like it. :D

It's good :D . The Lyrics really contains a message. Why don't you play/sing it in front of a webcam and put it on youtube. The best way to hear comment. I'd also really like to hear the matching tune
Well over there there's friends of mine, what can I say? I've known them for a long long time.

I like it as well. Think the suggestion of playing it and putting it on youtube is a great idea. I'd like to hear the lyrics with the music!
I fancy you with a passion. You're a Topshop princess, a rockstar too. You're a fad, you're a fashion and I'm having a job tryin to talk to you.

here's another song...... sorry for any mistakes in writting poem :D

Entangled eyes
Desperately looking,
Imagine herself in that silly costumes,
Like compliment comes,
Like compliment goes.
She's vain,
Figurin' how to gain
Some more of that,
Even she didn't know what.
First-rated in imagination,
Scum in her eyes,
Well where the hell is actual existence?
Looking at the picture,
Now she's part of it.
Going in circles
Trapped in time,
The she opened her eyes,
The she realized
In that fancy things of her,
She has a big house, pool, car,
But there's that little trifle,
She hasn't bought a dog.
Now, first-rated in her eyes,
Scum in actual existence,
Where's the imagination?
Perhaps in past life?
