I will think that song is a joke or a bit of a joke till the end of time or until the mountains crumble to the sea in other words until i die.

I love this cover! I laughed out of disbelief when I first heard it cuz it seems so off for the Monkeys to cover this song. But they did a great job of it. Sounds better when Alex is singing though...

i like that song, I mean I like it because it's different (although I prefer theirs indie style)... They maybe just wanted to make something different, to show that they can do stuff like that.... One song with different style (and OMG: "Baby I'm yours, And I'll be yours until the two and two is three..." awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)

I'll be honest i've always really liked this song and have never taken it for a joke.

From Wikipedia:
"Baby I'm Yours" is the name of a song written by Van McCoy. It was originally released by Barbara Lewis in 1965 and has been remade by many artists since then.

Most recently in 2006, Arctic Monkeys released a cover of the song in a collaborative effort with The 747s as a B-side on their single, "Leave Before the Lights Come On" which reached number four on the UK Singles Chart.
