Does anyone have tabs? i tried ultimate-guitar.com but theres only one entry and its kind of confusing. also does anyone know if the song is difficult to play, cos it seems a bit, but i dont really know so i just want to give it a try...

Its quite easy. It just takes a bit of practise because most monkeys songs use the bass ( the thicker 3 - for those who dont know) strings and this mainly uses treble

i tried to figure out some parts for myself. here's what i have got so far, i know it's not a lot, so please feel free to add/change, i'd love some suggestions. it's such a nice tune and it would be great to be able to play it properly.

verse x 2:

A ??
I wish you would have smiled in the bakery
?? D
Or sat on a tat or settee
Dm
It's a mutual friends gathering

Dm A
To never meet is surely where we're bound
There's one in every town
Just there to grind you down

And then the short break right after the grind you down part:

D-chord
E (first string): --1--5--11--13--

Well well, no replies means i'll have to do a double post.

A F#m A
I wish you would have smiled in the bakery,
D
or sat on a tatty settee.
Dm
It's a mutual friends' gathering,
A F#m
and the more you keep on looking,
F#m or A
the more it's hard to take.
Bm
Love we're in stale mate.
Dm A
To never meet is surely where we're bound.
Bm
There's one in every town,
Dm
just there to grind you down.

A F#m A
I wish I would have seen you in the post office,
D
well maybe I did and I missed it –
Dm A
to busy with a mind on clever rhymes.
F#m A
Why not the rounders pitch or the canteen?
Bm
You're slackin' love, where have you been?
Dm ?
Just'ad to go and wait until tonight.

A Bm
So give me the invite,
Dm
don't worry it's alright.

A F#m
I wish I would have seen you down in the arcade,
Bm
sippin' on a lemonade,
Dm A
in a paper cup, an' chewin' on the straw

F#m A
And i wish i'd seen you in the bakery,
Dm
but if i'd seen you in the bakery,
(F#m) Dm A
you probably wouldn't have seen me.

I'm still not sure it's quite right though... actually i know it's not right, but it's better than nothing at all.

Well, the chords are Dm and Em, really simple, just play them in a way that suits the song.

i know this is a guitar tab thread, but this is actually more of a drum tab question, just didn't know where to put it. anyways. i was wondering if there might be some drummer person on this forum kind enough to help me figure out the drum tab for Settle for a Draw. Doesn't have to be the exact thing, a simplified version or just parts of it will be absolutely fine. If you're not a drummer, but just have a good ear, then feel free to reply too :D will be very much appreciated.
